Assembling your own workbench at George at Work is simple. Follow the four steps explained below and do it yourself through our webshop.
The cabinets form the basics of the workbench. You can choose a maximum of 3 cabinets for below the worktop. In the next step, you will be choosing a worktop that goes on top of these cabinets.
It is also possible to not choose any cabinets for under the worktop. The workbench will then be created using 2 side panels and a support plank (explained in step 3 and step 4).
The worktop will be mounted on top of the cabinets. You can choose between oak, stainless steel and multiplex worktops. You can also choose the length of your workbench: 1,5 meters or 2 meters.
If you have chosen for 3 cabinets in step 1, you will need a worktop of 2 meters.
If you have chosen for a worktop with holes, you can select a tool panel in step 3.
The tool panel will be mounted to the worktop. This is optional and requires a worktop with holes included.
You might need side panels, dependant on the amount of chosen cabinets. See the image below; the red spots are the side panels you may need.
- If you have no cabinets in step 1, you will need 2 side panels.
- If you have chosen 1 cabinet in step 1, you will need 1 side panel.
- If you have chosen 2 or more cabinets in step 1, you won't need any side panels
The support plank is mounted between the lower cabinets as support. The plank is available in stainless steel or red metal. You will only need a support plank if you have chosen for none or 1 lower cabinet.
Your workbench is ready!
